You are looking at a Extremely Rare Antique 1900 Elgin Grade 199 15 Jewels Size 0s Fancy Face Watch. The watch runs and keeps great time for a 121 year old watch. Service history is unknown and a service is recommended. 15 jewel grade 199 movement is in great shape and is very beautiful. The movement is a size 0s which is a pocket watch movement. When wristwatches started to become the new thing and pocket watches started to fall out of popularity size 0s pocket watch movements were put into wristwatch cases. Over the year many of those watches have not survived taking on abuse for many years.

Many that still exist are in very rough condition. This one here has a very nice mint condition case and also has a beautiful fancy face dial. The watch comes on a vintage brown lizard watch strap. The case distentions are 31mm diameter excluding crown, 39mm lug to lug and 19mm lug width.
