Outstanding Antique Vintage BLACK PETER SPRINGERLE COOKIE BOARD MOLD. This mold was too big to be used at home.
It was used in a bakerey. Can you imagine this cookie being displayed in a window for all the children to see! Must have been an awesome sight! Measures 28 3/4" tall by 9 3/4" wide and 1 5/8 deep. Black Peter or Zwart Piet first appeared in a book about 1850 as the companion of St Nicholas. This is a RARE RARE Mold. This is really museum quality!
