Between the tiles, incised Eastlake style carvings decorate the empty spaces. The top shelf is 12 deep with a beveled edge. This mantel is in good condition for its age. Minor chips are present along the edges and corners of some components. The finish is beginning to wear from the trim surrounding the firebox.
